Join us as Books Alive! For Kids joins The Gaskins Foundation by supplying STEAM Kits to students for the STEMulating Saturday program at the Cincinnati Museum Center!
STEAM Kits include books and art materials for exploring multidisciplinary concepts inspired by the thematic connections found in the books featured.
For March, we will be showcasing “Wind Flyers” from our interactive library alongside, “You Can Fly” within our Companion Book Series for older students. Both books will be exploring themes of history, bravery, and resiliency. We will be studying American history through the bravery of the Tuskegee Airmen, and students will be exploring flight through paper airplanes and drones!
Our special guest this month will be Mr. Darryl Shirley, Chapter President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen!
