It Takes A Village - The Global Impact of Black Lives Matter

It Takes A Village invites a network of communities throughout Cincinnati and beyond to fuel conversations about the global impact of Black Lives Matter and provide participants with the information, knowledge, and understanding of how to better address racism within their communities. 

On July 30, 2020, we led a discussion about the global impact of Black Lives Matter. The discussion, which can be accessed here, has accumulated over 600 views to date. We were honored to be joined by the talented Kristin McLane from The Vivid Ink Company, who crafted the Illustrated Model (picture below) to help us continue the conversation, remember the content and make what we talk about actionable.

The event was free and open for all to join! It Takes A Village invites community members representing all races, ethnicities, immigration statuses, and countries of origin from across the region and world to discuss and give voice as to how and why the Black Lives Matter movement resonates, as well as provide ways to move forward together.
