LTA’s Kathy Wade receives Marian A. Spencer Mosaic Award

Thank you to the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association for their recognition of Learning Through Art's CEO and Co-Founder Ms. Kathy Wade as the recipient of the 2024 Marian A. Spencer Mosaic Award!

From the University of Cincinnati:
The Marian A. Spencer Mosaic Award is presented to an alumnus who has demonstrated leadership while enhancing our shared community through cultivating collaboration, fostering inclusiveness, championing the cause of the underrepresented, and promoting greater equity and opportunity for all. The award is in honor and memory of Marian A. Spencer, A&S '42, Hon '06, civil rights activist and former Mosaic Award honoree.

Ms. Wade will be celebrated during the UC Alumni Celebration on Thursday, April 11, 2024, part of the April 8-14 Alumni Week festivities. Ms. Wade and this year’s other honorees also will be depicted on a vibrant new mural to be painted on a building in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood in April.
