Books Alive! For Kids®: Exploring Literacy Through the Visual, Performing, and Digital Arts

Course Description (What attendees will see to choose your session)
Unlock the imagination and discover a world of stories through the magic of the arts! Books Alive! For Kids® creates curriculum supporting families and educators by providing equitable pathways to literacy through the vehicles of art and interactive media. Whether beginning to learn to read, or readers who are struggling below grade level, BA!FK® strengthens literacy skills through sustained learning built upon stories of representation and connections to creativity.

1) UNDERSTAND the Interactive Library with Lesson Plans, State Standards, and Study Guides
2) ANALYZE Multilingual Vocabulary and Dolch Words for Classroom Use
3) APPLY Cross-Curricular Connections
4) CREATE Base Reader's Theatre alongside Interactive Technology with the Books Alive!® App and Adobe Express


Who is the target audience/grades for this session?
Pre-K-3rd and 4th-6th grades
