Thank you to The Gaskins Foundation for this awesome recognition, and to all of the educators and organizations that are helping to lift up students in our region by providing access to quality STEM education and opportunities.

The STEMmys have been created to recognize the contributions of African-American individuals and organizations who are contributing to the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education among African Americans in the Greater Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky Region. They are intended to shine a bright light on the strides that have and can be achieved through collective work, support and community ownership. We will intentionally illuminate the possibilities that can be cultivated through demonstrated support and responsibility. The proceeds from the STEMmys will be used to create college scholarships for gifted high school students.
