Cincy Reads!™ and it begins with you! Learning Through Art, Inc. celebrates 25 years of building community through art with Cincy Reads!™, a weekend of family fun wrapping the region in reading to end illiteracy. Thanks to our sponsors and the members of our Honorary Committee for their support!
LTA presents a city wide read-a-loud on Friday, September 22, 2017. In recognition of LTA’s 25th anniversary, LTA will recruit the participation of 25 corporate, civic, community, and faith organizations to hosts read-a-louds during lunch at their respective locations. LTA will celebrate on Fountain Square with an open invitation for the public to attend during lunch with read aloud and live performance from 12-1pm.
This is a 25th Anniversary like no other! On Saturday, September 23, 2017, it’s an afternoon of Books Alive! For Kids® family fun, food and entertainment celebrating the joy of reading while empowering families in the newly renovated iconic landmark, Ziegler Park.
It’s Cincinnati’s own Blue’s Clues meets Where’s Waldo for books! Families will hunt for clues around Cincinnati’s 10 most prominent iconic downtown landmarks to find Paige Turner, Books Alive! mascot owl. Post your selfie and the 10 best liked photos will receive an anniversary prize from Learning Through Art, Inc.
